Burt Brent Award
All oral presentations were judged by the ISAR Executive Committee and the best presentation of ISAR 2017 was awarded a certificate for the Burt Brent Best Oral Presentation Award as well as an artistically welded ear which Dr Martin Öberg has worked on himself.

Burt Brent Award Winner
The award for the Burt Brent Award for Best Oral Presentation at the 2nd Congress of the International Society for Auricular Reconstruction was awarded to Dr Iris Otto from University Medical Center Utrecht for her presentation titled ‘Auricular cartilage progenitor cells as a novel source for cartilage tissue engineering’.
Her current PhD is on the topic of tissue engineering and bioprinting for ear reconstruction. Dr Iris Otto has left a message for Dr Burt Brent below.
