ISAR Congress 2021, Toronto

Submit an abstract now for the ISAR 2020 Congress in Toronto.

Dear Colleagues and Friends,

During a recent conference call with the ISAR Executive Council, the Toronto local hosts and our congress organisers, In Conference, we unfortunately had to take the decision to postpone the ISAR meeting, planned for October 1-3, 2020 in Toronto.

We have decided that in the light of the continuing escalation of the COVID-19 pandemic, to move the meeting to 2021.  Of course, this was not an easy decision, much work had been done by In Conference, the local hosts and many of you, who had already sent in their abstracts.  However,  as we look at the enormous impact the present pandemic has on the lives of people, the socio-economic situation, on travel possibilities but foremost on our colleagues who are fighting this still very active invisible enemy, we could not decide otherwise.

We will continue to monitor the development of COVID-19 closely over the next year to
ensure the health and safety of delegates, presenters and industry partners and we look
forward to being in touch very soon with the new dates.

I am disappointed not to be able to meet all of you personally this year but very much looking forward to staying in touch.    I encourage all our members to make use of our “ISAR 2020” WhatsApp group.  It is a perfect way to share your problems and solutions related to ear reconstruction, but also how you deal with COVID-19 in your daily practice during this surrealistic period in our lives.

I hope you, your families, the ISAR community, and all your friends, colleagues and patients are in good health and remain safe and I look forward to meeting you all again very soon.

Kind regards,

Prof. Moshe Kon, MD, PhD
