COVID-19 UPDATE: ISAR 2020 HAS BEEN POSTPONED TO 2022

Dear Colleagues and Friends,

Since announcing the new dates of our postponed conference in Toronto (November 25 – 28, 2021) several of our members pointed out that this not very convenient because of Thanksgiving on November 26th, an important family holiday in the USA.

Therefore, the ExCo together with In Conference looked for alternative possibilities. Taking into consideration that 2021 will still have the aftermath of COVID-19 and most probably crowded with postponed meetings, we reserved the Sick Kids venue in Toronto for March 24-26, 2022.

Detailed information will reach you in time but for the moment please reserve the new dates in your agenda.

We are aware of the fact that the gap between the 2017 meeting in Beijing and the next one in Toronto is rather large, and we are presently looking for ways to offer our members access to short on-demand or virtual networking sessions in order to continue communications in the meantime.  We would welcome your feedback with ideas on content and duration of these sessions.

Furthermore, we decided to offer our members a reduction in the annual membership fee which will be lowered for 2020-2021 from €150 to €75.

In the meantime, don’t hesitate to share your problem cases in our WhatsApp group or any other information you want to put forward.

We will keep you informed about the program related to the Toronto meeting but for now I wish you all a very pleasant summer. Stay safe, stay healthy, take care.

Prof. Moshe Kon, MD, PhD
President ISAR
